Returns & Hire Terms

At Bright Site Solutions, we want your hire experience to be simple, fair, and transparent.
Please read the following guidelines to understand how returns, extensions, damages, and cancellations work.


🔄 Returning Equipment

When can I return my equipment?

Returns can be made during our operating hours:
Monday – Friday: 08:00–17:30
Saturday: 08:00–13:00

Please return items to our branch at:
Plot 49 Mossie Street, Onderstepoort, Pretoria, 0110


How should items be returned?

Equipment must be returned clean, undamaged, and in the same condition as hired.

All accessories, cables, chargers, and consumables must be included.

For larger items, please ensure the equipment is safe and secure for transport.


🕓 Late Returns & Extensions

What if I need more time?

If you need to extend your hire period, please contact us before your return date.
We’ll check availability and confirm the additional cost.

What happens if I return equipment late?

If the item is returned after the agreed hire period, a daily extension fee may apply.
This ensures fairness to other customers who may be waiting to hire the same item.


🛠 Damage, Loss & Cleaning Fees

What if something gets damaged during my hire?

Please notify us as soon as possible.
Depending on the type of damage, charges may apply for repairs or replacement parts.

Lost equipment or accessories

If an item is lost, stolen, or returned without essential accessories, a replacement fee will be charged.

Cleaning charges

If equipment is returned excessively dirty or contaminated, a cleaning fee may be added to your final invoice.


💳 Deposits & Refunds

Is a deposit required?

Certain high-value items require a refundable security deposit.
This will be shown at checkout before you complete your order.

When will my deposit be refunded?

Deposits are refunded once the equipment is checked, cleaned, and confirmed to be in good working order —
typically within 1–3 business days.


Cancellations

Can I cancel my order?

Yes — orders can be cancelled before collection.
If you need to cancel, please contact:

If payment has already been made, a refund will be processed within 1–3 business days.


📄 Important Notes

Equipment must always be used in accordance with safety guidelines.

Bright Site Solutions is not liable for injuries or damage caused by misuse.

Some items may require proof of ID or additional documentation before hire.
